Experienced in Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Leadership, Strategic Asset Management, Business Planning, and natural gas value chain Hydrocarbon Accounting. I also have demonstrated experience in leading a team with direct reports, extensive stakeholder management, strategy development, safety leadership, production optimisation and exposure to commercial agreements.
2021 - Present
Production Operations Supervisor
Operations Engineer on a Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) fractionation plant producing Ethane, Propane, Butane and Gasoline. I lead a team of five Operations personnel to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective operations to meet daily production targets without compromising asset integrity, given the plant's crucial role in ensuring stable UK energy supply. Fractionation process optimisation, emissions minimisation, plant safety leadership, contractor management and operations and maintenance risk management are critical to strong delivery.
2020 - 2021
Lead Hydrocarbon Accountant
Hydrocarbon Accountant for the Shell-Esso Gas and Associated Liquids (SEGAL) value chain – fed by UK/Norwegian Shell & 3rd party offshore assets and made up two gas processing plants and a marine terminal.
Managed daily gas production data from 80+ UK and Norwegian offshore assets and two onshore gas processing plants – including data collation, validation and verification. I also allocated the hydrocarbon products (mass balances) at various points through the value chain using allocation models and reported relevant data to customers and relevant regulatory bodies e.g. OGA & SEPA.
2019 - 2020
Planning and Performance Engineer
In this role within the Planning and Performance team for the Shell UK Onshore Gas Plants, I drove critical Asset management processes like the Execute Strategic Asset Management Plan (ESAMP), turnaround risk management, a safety related alarms project scope and benchmarking exercises to identify gaps to top quartile performance in areas of safety, cost and production performance for the SEGAL valve chain
2017 - 2018
Production Engineering Intern
Ensured efficient, compliant and uninterrupted production at a (New Product) tablet manufacturing site, supporting several processes including granulation, compression and coating. Led several root cause investigations to determine reasons for production deviations and saved £1M+ in potential manufacturing waste. Also coordinated multiple facility and equipment modifications.

Energy Conversion and Storage Short Course
I completed a distance-learning short course with the University of Aberdeen. It focused on using engineering and chemical engineering concepts of thermodynamics, mass and energy balances to study the interconnection between different forms of energy. It covered the fundamental thermodynamics of converting one form of energy to another (including limitations) and different ways in which energy might be stored, and how quickly it can be delivered on demand to consumers.
2015 - 2019
Integrated Master's degree in Chemical Engineering
I earned my Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from a leading institution and the birthplace of the subject's birthplace: Manchester. My studies covered
technical aspects of chemical engineering, around managing the behaviour of materials and chemical reactions, as well as predicting and manipulating compositions, flows, temperatures, and pressures of solids, liquids and gases.
I also learned how to incorporate process safety and sustainability in real life situations. My final year group design project was nominated by the School for the Macnab-Lacey Prize for sustainability.
