Lockdown Journals: Africa Utility Week Conference

I recently joined an African Utility Week virtual event a few weeks ago and heard about the initiatives and businesses currently focusing on managing energy generation, supply and emissions from the continent between now and the middle of the century.

If by 2050, 40% of births on the planet are predicted be in Africa, something differently needs to be done differently as we rapidly develop our economies.

I have one or two stories from the week that I'll share another time.

I wouldn’t have been able to attend this event in Cape Town, so this is one of the many silver linings I’ve found in this time!
